What's in a name?
Before I get severely censured for wandering totally off topic, I have moved my Trebor (the confectionary manufacturer) comment here.
So, did you know that Trebor is simply Robert backwards?
And does anyone remember the Essoldo chain of cinemas? If so, I was told (by my father no less) that it was derived from Esther, Solomon and Dorothy, which were names of the owner and his family.

Re: What's in a name?
I'm sure you've heard of the car model, Nova?
Nova = no va
In Spanish, 'no va' means 'doesn't go'
What better name for a car.

Yes it was.
Chitty chitty bang bang didn't get his name from the sound he made.
Chitty refers to the travel chit given to travel down to the coast to bang the lovely ladies.
Remember, it was written by Ian Flemming, who had a very dirty mind!
