I had a quick look at that app. It appears that the program the iPod uses to display text can also use HTML (including links to the music tracks on the iPod).

I like the idea of exploiting the iPod as a lifestyle accessory with a wide range of uses, it's just typically British that the first 'alternative' use is a database of useful public toilets!

True. At least it covers proper toilets and not just the bloody awful "urinal" things they have (like those opposite Charing Cross station). Not that I object to using Urinals. Just don't like it when said Urinal is in the street..
