Parcel force ask for COD at the door. Parcel force also charge £13.50 per box for assesment fees.

gary_580 has just indicated that they use Royal Mail special delivery, forgot the RM operate there too. Special delivery can ship boxes up to 15Kg, and insured so this makes a lot of sense.

Do they correctly label the customs declaration with the full price?
Is it just a matter of it not being spotted for tax on the full value or do they say that the value is under £18 so it gets ignored?

Eeek! £13.50 is enough to make some UK retailers cheaper. I was banking on the £4 that Royal Mail charge.

They label it up correctly. Its not a normal green customs label though, its white for some reason, perhaps they dont get spotted so easily. The last order i placed every article came in a seperate package to get under the £18 limit

I didnt get charged on a £650 camera or a £200 flash. If others arent getting charged either then it has to be worth the risk.

The Royal Mail ones are white these days, as are most. Probably due to computer production of the documents onto white paper or stickers.

The requirement is that it has E22 or whatever the number of the document is prominently printed on it in the top left or right - I'm sure there are a full ser of substitute rules in existance out there.
