Birmingham Motor Show
Well - has anyone else been?
I went yesterday with Paul - and it was BRILLIANT!
If anyone wants to look at the photos we (he!) took then they are on my webspace here
Sorry it's just in list form but I have only just been introduced to the wonderful world of your own webspace! Modifications to be made at some point in the future!
I managed to stay out of the photos except one - if you can find it!

But... but.... but... you can't like cars, you're a girl! It is a refreshing change actually.
I used to go a lot as a kid, but not so much recently, because noone takes it seriously (BMW didnt even turn up this year) but looking at those photos, there was some nice rare motors there.

Make them ask you to turn it down, then you can tell them: "If it is too loud, you're too old"
Are you the lady looking impressed with the silver Street Ka?

Yes - but I'm seriously not a normal girl!
I feel sorry for poor Paul - having to drag me away from the Aston Martins after an hour - but then we found the TVR stand -
It's the best Motor Show I've been to so far (and I've been to the last 4), the Ford stand was good - with a heavy bias towards the new Thunderbirds film due out in the summer! Now I need to borrow a small child to force into watching it with me!
And I'm the one looking seriously impresed with the Ministry of Sound boot! (As seen in the pic above)

The show closes tomorrow but anyone that's thinking of going should make the journey, there's plenty to see but you need to make sure you have comfy shoes on

Re: Birmingham Motor Show
Thanks for sharing that, the pictures were great - shame only one of Chimaera, though - and I presume Paul took all the piccies 'cos he was no-where to be seen.
I've only been to one at the NEC, but I used to go when I lived in London & it was at Olympia.

She didn't even know that one was taken but I did try for more Next time it will be a bigger memory card as we took over 60 pics this time and could have taken more.
I was the one that took most of the snaps but then at 6ft 1 there weren't too many heads that could get in my way I'm not what you could term a petrol head but you don't have to be one to have fun at the motor show, just make sure you take someone along that you can have a good day with Still one more day before the show ends and there are plenty of hotels in the area around the NEC, there are 3 Ibis hotels to start with, one is only about 8km from the NEC itself.
Enjoy the pics, they will be in the webspace until we get time to throw a website together for Chimaera, at which point they will be available within the site itself

Re: Birmingham Motor Show
Paul, I feel sorry for you... Chi and a motor show is a lethal combination...

Yeah - he knows that now - he was mentioning that you may like to come to the next one for a bit of moral support?
Or as Birmingham is fairly central dare I suggest it for a forum meet - after all I think there's 2 years till the next one - long enough for us to organise I'm sure!
