Following on from another thread, and for those who have the faintest idea what I'm talking about, there are some new contact lenses on the market which some of you may find convenient.
Up until now, if you had suffered from astigmatism, you'll know that you're usually restricted to a type of lens called toric lenses. These haven't previously been available to use as extended/continuous wear (the ones you sleep in), but a new lens is now available for this.
It's currently only available from Boots Opticians, but will be rolled out to other practitioners in September, so if anyone feels this might be of benefit to them, have a word with your friendly optician
