michelle duggar of arkansas breathed a sigh of temporary relief as she gave birth to her 15th child.

Their children include two sets of twins, and the parents have stuck to the letter "J" for their names. There is Joshua, 16; Jana and John-David, 14; Jill, 13; Jessa, 11; Jinger, 10; Joseph, 9; Josiah, 7; Joy-Anna, 6; Jeremiah and Jedidiah, 5; Jason, 4; James, 2; and Justin, 1.

Re: how many are enough ?
There is nothing wrong with it. I think it would be very, very, very exciting to have had 14 other siblings.

I really don't care. We have 30 million people living in over 9 million sqare kilometers. Plenty of space.

Not as exciting as you would have thought. I used to go out with a girl from a catholic family and she was one of 12. Most of them had left home and there was just her, a younger brother and sister left living at home (although she was at uni at the time too). Basically several had left home before the last 4 or so were even born, so they were never really all together under one house. Their ages ranged from about 13 up to around 40. A lot of different personalities/opinions which meant that they weren't all massively close, oh and lots of hand-me-downs!

Out comes the "I'm alright Jack card again"
I really should go and find the link to the "calculate your ecological footprint" site, but I don't think it'll make a jot of deference.

Who gives YOU the right to decide how many children a couple should be allowed to have?

Hmm, some would argue having the intelligence to realise that the earth doesn't have enough resources for an un-hindered continual population increase gives the right.
Of course some people don't care about the greater populous and will have as many kids as they like, often through unplanned pregnancies and lack of knowledge of contraception than actually planning to have 15 kids.
