Mazda RX-8
OO I like this car a lot:
Mazda RX-8
2.6L rotary engine
238 hp @ 8,500 rpm
159 lb-ft torque @ 5,500 rpm
But, at 14,800 pounds (new) it is unaffordable for me at this time. *sigh*

Good choice Jerrek, my best mate has a black one and it is mad,
only a 1.3 litre engine though! being a ****el it's hard to compare capacity though, the HP speaks for itself!

Re: Mazda RX-8
My mate has one as his company car, 1.3L, fast as anything, handles like a dream (that said my mate still managed to spin it on a roundabout). Though it absolutely gulps down oil and petrol

Yeah but it has a roatary engine, so a it can't be compared to a normal 1.3. It gives out 280 odd BHP

Re: Mazda RX-8
The 1.3l is about 200bhp i think and yes its mpg aint to hot, though the rx8 is markidly better than what its replacing.
Strange that the americans / canadians get a 2.6 though and we dont :-( Though they dont get much more power at all,
Also insurance companies will know its a rotorary engine no discount there, shame its not abit smaller though so you could get cheap road tax
K
edit - just done a hunt for it and these are the specs i've found
http://www.mazdarx8.co.uk/upclose/specs/specs2.asp
strange we get two different power outputs avaliable, both 1.3l but one has more power but less torque and revs to 9000rpm whilst the other revs to 7000rpm.
and oh they'll set you back £20k for the baseline, £22k for the upped engine baseline

Thats not what the chant refers to. It refers to the 1999 FA cup semi-final replay, where it was a errant pass by Vieira that Giggs intercepted and then proceeded to weave his way through the Arsenal defense. Thus knocking Arsenal out of the cup and leave them winning **** all. :pp

According to Madza's USA site they only offer a 1.3 version. Maybe Jerrek got it wrong.
