There would be no easy way of giving it back to the person, if you take it and give it to the bank they would keep for them selves and if you shouted down the street "is this anyones £300" you would probably have about 50 people running towards you!.................. Id just keeps it

I dont think its dishonesty as its not really your fault is it.
Lets say you find £10 in the park..... what would you do ? There is no one to give it to.
