The Drowned and the Saved a very good book, but not one to read if you are depressed.

Well ok - I do know what one is - but I can't remember when I last read one - probably sometime last year on the train to London when I read a Dr Who [Dalek] story.

Re: What was the last book you read?
Last two completed books:
The Sigma Protocol (Robert Ludlum) - increasingly ludicrous but irritatingly readable
Venus (Ben Bova) - well-written piece of adventure/exploration
Currently reading:
Paladin of Souls (Lois McMaster Bujold) - Her second book set in the imaginary land of Chalion, so far a thoughtful, gripping work
In the queue:
Eats, Shoots and Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation (Lynne Truss) - Cable Forum beware, anal postings by towny are on the way
I love books, me
