Racing!

Look at this:

What do you think? It looks really awesome to me, and I'm seriously considering it. (I love cars.) 4 days of joy!

Does look v cool

(Bit of a distance for most of us though )

You'd really go for it? Think it's worth the price?

Re: Racing!

Sure. That is a very good price actually, for four days with a F1 car. And, you're not responsible for any damage in excess of 1,000 pounds. Not that I plan on doing any damage, mind you.

I'm looking for more training in stuff. Right now I'm snooping around cars because I want to get my air-brake qualification and my tractor trailer license so I can drive anything on the road. But, I also want a multi-engine rating for my pilot's license, but renting a twin-engine plane is about 120 pounds per hour. Not cheap.

I'm getting my motorcycle license this summer.

True, I guess it is quite good for 4 whole days driving. And I suppose it's one of those "the sheer experience is worth the money" things.

Err, if it was an F1 car, that would be an *astonishingly* good price, they're actually F2000 cars

However if you can afford it, by all means, go for it. A friend of a friend did a similar course here in the UK at Brands Hatch I think and was raving about it for weeks after!

Just remember, when you've finished, you do *NOT* try to drive like that on the regular roads...!!!

Re: Racing!

Hmm, Reynard Formula 2000 = 2 litre and 130bhp.
Average Formula 1 car = 3 litre, over 900bhp.
So not that much difference then eh?

Re: Racing!

If you've got the money and fancy it, go for it. Fancy doing that sort of thing myself.
