Careful, or you'll have Nemesis beating your door down as well as me ... I'm from Wirral, the civilised half of Merseyside and the posh side of the River Mersey. (So's Nem BTW).
Sometimes called 'woollybacks' or 'plastic scousers' by the good people of Liverpool, but definitely not the genuine article. Thank goodness.

my flatmate says he is from the wirral. to me he is still a scouser, i dnt care what he says he still has the accent. u wirral-ites just accept you are part of the scouse collective
