I'm looking for a book
It's out of print and I can't find it for sale anywhere. Any ideas?

Re: I'm looking for a book
They don't have it, but it might be worth checking out abebooks.com occasionally. It's US based, but they search a large data base of second hand book sellers. It might come up in the future? (I've gotten some hard to find books through them).

I've just tried usedbooksearch.co.uk. They search a number of sites including abebooks. No luck I'm afraid Perhaps try again in a while...

Re: I'm looking for a book
maybe they have made the book deliberately difficult to get hold of
like a sort of zen like excercise in avoiding frustration etc

lol, it's a hard one to find because (afaik) it was printed only once in english (1977) and it's by a pre-eminent yang style practitioner.
I can find lots of references to it but nowhere is it for sale......
I have tried all the online Hay on Wye bookshops and many other online places with no luck

Re: I'm looking for a book
A bit of Googling gave a Polish site that listed the publisher as Gin Soon Chu, Boston. Googling on this gave the Gin Soon Tai Chi Chuan Federation at a Boston address. This site includes a phone number. Would it be worth a try?

Re: I'm looking for a book
I know it's a longshot but have you tried your local library? They may have a copy somewhere in the county that they can requisition for you to borrow?
Incog.

Yup, I had found both of those. May have to try ringing the US one.

Good idea but it's the sort of book I want to own as it requires intensive study.

Well, you don't *have* to return it. You could always loose it...
But that would be very sneaky.
My feeling is that if you were to find it, it may turn out to quite pricey

It might, but on the positive side the only place that was selling it had it up for $20, so it might not....and when you are used to paying for medical textbooks like I am, most other books seem cheap in comparison
