ever been ripped off
just been on a vip day at east kirkby aviation museum.
it consisted of 1 cup of tea in the morning, chicken pie for lunch followed by apple and blackberry crumble and another cup of tea.
lunch started at 12 noon followed by a taxi ride in the lancaster at 1pm,followed by a look round the inside of the lancaster amidst 15 other people trying to do the same.
then a cup of tea in the afternoon, where you recieve your certificate to show you have had a taxi ride.this certificate was printed on a computer and must have cost about 10p to produce.
this vip day cost 180 pounds it started at 9.30am and finished about 2pm.
a word of advice if you are contemplating going to east kirkby for a ride on the lancaster, don't bother with the vip day because it is a rip off.
just go for the taxi ride option its 60 quid cheaper and your not missing anything by not having the vip day.
infact you just get the impression off the owners, wev'e got your money, youv'e had your ride now p*ss off.
i can tell you i shan't go there again, they tell you the museum is in memory of there brother who was killed in action.
don't believe it,they are just out to make money.
sorry for the rant, but its just i feel ripped off,and it helps to get it off my chest
regards
