Going on holiday?
In light of WNA's upcoming trip to Cornwall, I wondered how many others are going on holiday this year?
So where are you going and how much (if you would like to disclose)
Me, Mrs Tricky and ikkle Tricky are going to North Wales for a week for a princely sum of £124 all in (self catering!) - My 1st UK holiday outside of mountain biking/walking in about 10 years!

Re: Going on holiday?
Two weeks to Portugal. Leaving Saturday week. Booked a flight and car, and we'll see where we end up. We'll be traveling around, staying in small hotels. No idea what it'll cost.

Re: Going on holiday?
Daughter finishes uni this year so I may possibly perhaps have some spare cash next year for a holiday.
This year's holiday money has already gone on subbing her for this final year.

Re: Going on holiday?
A week on the Isles of Scilly Scuba Diving in May. About £400 for an extermely vomit inducing ferry ride out from Penzance, self catering in a damp cramped cottage that we'd say was too small for a young couple but instead occupied by 7 smelly blokes all with dripping wet fetid wetsuits et all, and a daily ride to twice jump off the back of a 27' long boat into the swirling waters around the islands which are clearly dangerous given the number of wrecks that bump into the islands. My idea of heaven (OK so I need my head examining)
If I can get to the required training levels and experience I also want to go to Scapa Flow (Orkney Islands) to dive on the WWI wrecks in September. But the water there is cold (only 14 deg C in Summer) and it's a long way down - 30m plus, but hey you only live once!
