Ever been mugged? Ever been a victim of crime?

I've never been robbed (car, hourse). Someone once tried to mug me. A scrawny 130 pound guy. I'm 200 pounds, 6'3. He didn't get very far.

I've never been mugged, no-one has ever attempted to mug me, in fact in 32 years, other than getting into fights as a kid I've not been a victim of any violent crime

I was mugged when I was 14. Two lads jumped me from the corner and tried to take my money off me. I fought one of them off but the other put the boot in. Had bruised ribs and a nice shiner for a week but they did not get my wallet.

Was a very scary experience !! You sort of go into automatic mode.

Yes, I was the victim of ABH a few years ago.

Yeah, I was the vicitim of a mugging late at night about a month or so ago.

Was on the way home after a night out, walking the same way I'd walked many a time. Was about 1ish in the morning, and about half way home, when I looked behind me as I came to the edge of some fields, and saw a guy, or maybe two walking a few yards back.. I thought nothing of it, If anything felt safer as someone was close around.

Anyway, Turned back carried on walking.. All of a sudden was hit from behind, I swung around, think I hit something as I was kicked too the ground repeatedly. Not sure how many there was, although pretty sure there was more than one, as I heard talking. Anyway, My money fell out of my pocket.. Couldn't of been anything more than about £1.50ish.. And one of my bank cards, that had about 90p on He asked me for my Pin, So I just made some random number up, and off they went. It was raining slightly, and was soaked off being on the floor.. felt relieved to get away, thought I was ok. Got home, knocked the folks up to let me in, and my mum nearly screamed when she saw me.. I looked in the mirror, and my face was completly red, massive cut below my right eye.. was pretty freaky how I looked. So, dad ended up taking me up the accident unit, of Which I spent 5 hours up there to have it cleaned, stitched, and be xrayed

And this was the day before my driving test Think I got the sympathy vote tho, Cuz a passed

Iwas about 14, walking to White City underground station after school when 2 older kids stopped me and demanded money with menaces. I reached into my pocket and fished out 6p, saying that it was all I had
They seemed satisfied with their 'haul' and I was allowed to continue on my way

Been attacked a couple of times since ......

Mugged no. Burgled once. Had numerous bicycles stolen (but the insurance paid for a brand new one, so I didn't exactly lose out!)

looking back on it lightheartedly they probably picked on you because they saw your bulging wallet stuart......i have never met or heard of a 14 year old owning a wallet let alone using one , most 14 year olds cram dosh into their levis pockets.....
