Finally set a day

Yes ladies and gentlemen, as of the 10th June 2006 I will be a married man.
Co-incidently it will also be the day after my 30th Birthday which is cool because it means I resisted throughout my 20's

Couldnt be happier, its actually a scary feeling knowing that you will be marrying on a set date.

My dilema now is who to ask to be Best man, do I go for my best mate who I hardly ever see now since he got married and also works away from home. Or do I ask my dad who would still play an important role in the wedding anyway?

The other option I am having difficulty in deciding is the suit.
I would love to get married in a Kilt, but as I am not Scottish i wondered if there was any reason I couldnt/shouldnt marry in one?

Any more tips etc would be gratefully received.

I think if you father is still going to have an important role on the big day then I would ask your best mate.
Also, I cant see any reason why u can't/shouldn't wear a kilt if u are not scottish (and besides, it might be the last time you can wear a skirt once you are married LOL)

First of all - big congratulations M8.

Go for your best mate as best man, be a good chance to catch up again. As you say your Dad plays a big part in the day anyway.

As for the kilt - would your best man have to wear one too?
