Denzil R.I.P
We got up this morning to find that our lovely house rabbit Denzil had passed away.
We will miss him

Awww, poor Den, RIP indeed. It's always nasty when a pet passes away.
Although I will say one thing, with all the respect and compassion in the world, I'd run a mile if I saw a rabbit coming at me with red eyes like that....
How old was the little guy?

about 3-4 years old.. (those red eyes are because of the flash  )

well, we were already getting a couple of kittens this week.. and we're taking my grans cat because she can't look after him anymore
so it won't be that bad

Was he ill at all then? If not then his premature death certainly would have been a huge shock for you.

Sorry to hear about your rabbit its a few years since ours died. We never did replace him as the children had become teenagers.
The teacher I work with yesturday got up to fur all over the back garden. When she went out to see what was up she noticed the dead rabbit. It had faught for its life with the fox and lost she has to find a way to tell her 4 yr old daughter about this. Foxes are not the angels that the anti hunt brigade think they are. this rabbit was in its cage and the fox messed around until it got in. If they only killed for food I wouldn't hate them as much but they kill just for fun they can be full and still kill someones pet.

My rabbit died 2 weeks after I had him Never wanted another one because I cried so much (Was young  ) when he died.

Thanks for all your support guys/gals .
I'm not as upset as I thought i might be.. I've had pets all my life and he has left a bit of a void.. but hopefully I should have 3 cats by the end of the week which should take the edge off it.. (i'll post some pics of them )
