Is it 4 years already? Where does the time go to? Can't even begin to imagine how her parents cope, not only on a day to day basis, but in the knowledge that her murderer is still at large. Could be a stranger or possibly someone they know, who can tell until they are caught? In the meantime what's to stop them (the culprit) committing another similar crime?

Oh of course the police just decided not to bother investigating this crime. They just left it on the back burner and hoped it would go away.

Do you have even the slightest idea how much time and effort go into major enquiries like this? In this case, like numerous others, all the leads they have so far haven't panned out but the case will remain open until they get the break they need.

To give you an idea this murder is still an active investigation for Strathclyde Police. Over a year, no major leads and they aren't letting things go. I'd imagine the Milly investigation is the same.

Please actually use your head before having a cheap shot at the Police.

That would be a different division of the police force. At the end of the day, if the police have nothing to go on, then they can't just make evidence appear from thin air. You are forgetting to credit the thousands of cases they do convict for also. I think it is very unfair that people here are putting the police force down, considering the job they do. I know a few people who work for the police, and they don't have an easy ride. The stuff these people put up with, then have to report on. Full credit to them.

It's no fair to label them on a single case that they really don't have any evidence for. Give them a break, they do a damn good job on a day to day basis, especially when you consider the amount they get paid for putting themselves right in the face of danger a good proportion of the time.
