Tesco rips off customers!!!
I work at Asda and been into work today and saw a notice about Tesco.
They are selling books for £1 more than what we sell them. I hear you cry "SO?!". Well, these books they sell are our books what they have brought off us. They have stuck their price sticker over ours! We went to a tesco today to have a look brought it, took it back to our store took their price sticker off, and yes, ours is under neath.
We are now going to be sueing Tesco for doing this. ****ers

How can Asda sue Tesco?
Tesco brought a product from then, & then resold them for a profit-sounds like normal business to me.

From what I heard, it sounds like the wholesaler labelled a load for asda, then got the Tesco order, overlabelled them, and shipped them out to Tesco

Re: Tesco rips off customers!!!
These books are exclusive to Asda. They are selling a product that have a contract between Asda and the book manufactor.

If they are 'exclusive to Asda', why did Asda see them to Tesco in the 1st place??

Asda and Tesco need to take it up with the wholeseller who is the one that has screwed up.
An Asda spokeswoman said it was quite genorous of Tesco to advertise that Asda sell the same book for about half the price

From above it sounds like they didn't - the wholesaler did.

Services: I no longer receive cable services, I blame the inept accounts dept for that.

Re: Tesco rips off customers!!!
Tesco's could be reasonably selling them having bought them in good faith from thier supplier. If the supplier to Asda has broken a contract that tied them to selling the books only to Asda then Tesco's have done nothing wrong in buying them, its the supplier who did the wrong.
Any lawsuit against Tesco's will fail.
Its the wholesaler that has sold them to Tesco's in the first place, that needs suing.
But what the heck, they are all the same big company anyway...lol
