And that I'm afraid is it in a nutshell.

Once these new countries join the EU we have to allow them free access to jobs here and vice versa.

As far as training people in this country already, some people just don't want to work and others are better off on benefits.

Yes, but some people are too scared to question it.

The simple answer is for us to quit the EU and shut the doors.

Our teenagers would rather go to University/College with their devalued A levels and do a degree in sociology than learn a trade.

fair point , but if the jobs paid a decent wage then ppl would , it must seem like they are millionaires when they come over here

I agree - BUT - Are there any real trades any more. You cant learn a trade and have it as a job for life any more !

Of course if we helped the other countries sort out their economy they wouldn't need to come here.

true there arent many real apprenticeships about many more , when i did mine it was 5 years long

Tried to find a plumber recently?

If I was to re-train I would become a plumber, sparks or chippie, and then go self employed.
