the US is stepping up its anti terror measures by implimenting a new system to be introduced in january 2004 at all airports and seaports

the system is anyone passing through the various ways to get in to the US and is from outside western europe and a few other countries will have there fingerprint and photographs taken for 'security' measures

"I think people have come to understand that an increase to security is necessary," said U.S. Homeland Security spokesman Bill Strassberger

Strassberger said once screeners become proficient, the extra security will take only 10 to 15 seconds per person. Foreign travelers also will continue to pass through regular Customs points and answer questions.

so basically the US is saying anyone who is not from western europe is a threat and is a 'risk' to them total stupidity at the hands of bush is being shown

whay galls me about people who criticise the iraq war and
things meant to stop terror attacks

is that they have no alternatives

they are just empty headed peacenics with no firm grasp

I do applaud the USA for its muscle flexing bravery in changing something. Sure maybe they go over the top sometimes but the UK really do wimp out on lots of things. Maintaining the political correctness is more important than taking a stance - type of attitude...

"Taking a stance"? You mean lying to people about WMDs, the Al Qaeda connection to Iraq and the "threat to world security" of Saddam and invading a country for blatant political gain, rather than actual need?
