France do have a good inteligence service in Africa and the Middle East dont they?

If he is dead don't you think it would be in certain people's interests to suppress the news? Personally I have no idea if there is any truth in this story although I believe that one of the complications of typhoid is kidney failure and I believe I am right in saying that he was already on dialysis, also if it is true it does sound like he endured a particularly slow and agonising death and if that is the case perhaps justice may have been done.
