Yes ... which is why I've split this into a new thread. This is a different topic to what the other thread started out with anyway.

I knew the topic had been discussed before.

Sick, sick scum.
Edit - good for the news presenter though - can't see Sky allowing their presenters to talk to their "guests" like that though unfortunatly.

I was going to post something flippant, in reply to that, but on second thoughts this is too serious an issue. (not saying your comment was flippant, btw, punky ).
The thought that these people would intrude on a fathers grief for a son, who had given his life in service of his country, is appalling. Why those poor deluded people can't see that his sexuality had nothing to do with his sacrifice, I don't know, but it shows that their 'agenda' takes precedence over all else. What do they expect, that everyone affected is going to suddenly decide they are not going to be gay, anymore? - that just confirms their ignorance encompasses both meanings of the word

No, fair dues mate... I was trying to get a laugh out of is a serious and dispicible report... Its my sense of humour. I'm the son of a copper and mates with coppers and firemen. We all have a sense of humour like that.
I didn't mean to upset anyone or play down the really dispicible series of events and actions in that report... Something i've had to learn a lot this year... When the most horrible things happen, all you can do is try and have a laugh at them.

Mrs Gaz's dad is a retired copper, so I know what you mean, sometimes it is the only way to cope with some of the things they have to deal with
- totally different to the 'protestors' in that report, who have the luxury of feeling smug in their attitude, while never having had to scrape a friend off the inside of a humvee

Re: Anti-gay funeral protesters get sued
As a grand daughter and daughter and wife of a serviceman with a variety of my family also being part of the armed services I find the woman a total waste of space.
I have stated at various times that I would defend to the death someone's rights to hold their beliefs PROVIDED they reciprocated in kind. This person has forfeited any such consideration from me.

The really horrible thing is... When people have bred so much hatred in themselves... There's no depth to which they wouldn't sink... Including glorifying in the deaths of others or their own. As you know from Palestinian suicide bombers, and that site on Palestinian kids I posted the other day.

Re: its about time some state took a stance!
I know a christian in the US - I talk to him often over ICQ, and he knows these people are idiots - I'm glad they're getting sued, they seem to be causing quite a lot of trouble recently.
