I've always thought it was fair - one of you gets 15 / 16ths of the bed, so the other one gets the duvet. Is that not how it works then

If I've someone in my bed, I tend to provide a second duvet for their use - no fighting over one duvet. I've enough bedding to setup an emergency shelter
