Lack of sleep may affect men's brain power, but lack of shopping affects women's...

That's a recognised medical condition Gaz. It's a reported syndrome where there are periodic erratic movements of your limbs when you sleep. It's often associated with restless legs syndrome. Do you get that too?
It can lead to sleep deprivation and extreme tiredness the following day.
It's not uncommon either...
|
ooh I didn't know that, thanks Salu - I don't think I have 'restless legs', but I do tend to have lots of 'nervous energy'. I don't appear to suffer from sleep deprivation/tiredness (unless I simply go to bed too late ), but Mrs Gaz did, even with a 'hippo' bed, so we went for the singles - problem solved

IF YOU have ever thought you were stupid to sleep with someone, consider this. Sharing your bed could actually make you stupid if you are a man - at least temporarily.

At last - an excuse I can live with!

What a load of rubbish! They picked eight( YES 8) unmarried couples and discussed perceptions of sleeping patterns as well as monitoring sleep patterns for 20 nights in all.How dare they even call this a scientific study...
and if i seem tetchy well yes I'm not sleeping well because of the heat wave we have had for the last week or so

Nug, i can run faster than you
I think my brain is ok, with about 12 hours total sleep this week due to nightmares :/ Not at optimal performance, but still... It's usable

Everyone can run faster than Nug, its the beer and ciggies that do it
I dream about 12 hours sleep in a week or I would if I ever slept long enough to dream

Re: Lack of sleep saps men's brain power
I was sleep-deprived for years when we had a double bed. Then got a king size. Brilliant - I can't believe we used to try and fit in a double. We're not fat blobs or anything, doubles are just too small.
