Loads and loads of tarmac pavements and road surfaces here, so the local temp hit 36.5c in the shade earlier... our area always gets hotter than the Met Office place in the city centre....

Better not be this bad tomorrow - when I'll be sitting on a train for 4 hours going to Birmingham. And on another for 4 hours coming back .... 
At least its only 3 hours each way to Reading on Thursday ....
