Good call from the CPS in my opinion.

I wonder if the lawyers for the family spend quite as much time dealing with any deaths resulting from police firing on suspects in Brazil.

Good call IMO as well. You cannot hold the officers who shot him to account when they were doing their job otherwise they and many others will be unable to perform their job.
