A white european male was seen leaving the block of flats - no white european males were murdered by the police that day. Why was that?

I find it amazing that you can seriously sit there and defend the murder of an innocent man using "poor communication" as some sort of justification for the actions of a group of armed police officers who, aside from following him for quite considerable distance and time, whilst straddling and holding down de Menezes couldnt distinguish between him and a white european.

I don't mind discussing this with you but when you resort to putting word in to my mouth, you lose my respect.

I have never defended the murder of that man. It was IMO a catalogue of poor errors which someone needs to pay the price for.

What exactly were you doing if not defending their actions by citing "poor communications" (now rebadged as "poor errors")?

I agree 100% that the man was murdered and someone needs to be brought to justice. If you're suggesting that I'm denying it was murder then you are putting words in my mouth.

What I disagree with is your suggestion it was down to his appearance. I'm willing to entertain the notion that his looks may have played a small part but certainly not a significant one IMO.

As the Panorama showed, it was down to a number of errors, one of the major factors being 'poor communication and intelligence'.

Of course, we don't know if the producer of that show was biased or is displaying journalistic dishonesty but Panorama has a very good reputation and I for one am willing to believe it.

The police themselves have stated his appearance played a major part in their decision to kill him - hardly a "small part", and certainly not a small price to pay on his part.
