Re: Hamas are going to win!
Well time will tell.I suspect that WHEN Hamas don't deliver any practical solutions and nothing changes they will lose votes in the next election and they will as politicians find out how fickle the voters can be.
Listening to the BBC 24 hour service at present the Fatah and Hamas supporters are at each other throats already.Shots have been fired.Does not bode well.
Maybe Israel will just have to bide their time and do nothing at all while the Palestinian government tears itself apart.

Re: Hamas are going to win!
Oh great.
What a brilliant step made by the Palestinians towards the two-state peace process - they have elected a party which promotes terrorism and doesn't even recognise Israel as a state!

Sorry I was mistaken when I said 1929 it was actually 1919 my mistake
It started in 1916 and if you read this you will note the mention of sinn fein funny really seeing as you appear to be slightly wrong also

Re: Hamas are going to win!
Remember! It is far easier to be a terrorist in opposition than a terrorist in power. When you are responsible for overseeing education, transport, the economy, crime and security with the knowledge that if you don't provide what you seem to promise, the voters will vote for someone else in the hopes of getting what they need.

The troubles in Northern Ireland which stemmed the mainland bombing campaign kicked off right around the time the Provo's were formed, 1968, not during the Easter Rising, seriously man, do a bit of proper research if you want to argue the point.

Yes. Hamas will have a hard time in the international community due to how they conducted themselves. They will need to denounce terrorism and be seen too.I think they will have problems gaining trust which could in itself damage there nation.

BBC History
In the General Elections of that year (1918) the pro-independence Sinn Féin won virtually every seat outside of Ulster. The following year the Irish Republican Army began a guerrilla war against Britain.

I'd have to say typical argumentative ignorance from you too, I'm obviously wrong, Gazzae's obviously wrong and the University of Ulster must be wrong too. I'm not going to discuss this with you anymore, as I've already said and you've already admitted, you know nothing about it.

BBC HISTORY
The Troubles refers to the period of violent conflict in Northern Ireland beginning with the Civil Rights marches in the late 1960s to the political resolution enshrined in the 1998 Good Friday Agreement. During that time more than 3,000 people were killed, most of them civilians. Explore the history of the period through articles, video footage, audio clips and photographs.

Re: Hamas are going to win!
it all stems back the birth of the IRA so the troubles started in 1968 i concede but the trouble started way before then be a man concede that point.
I said the more resent troubles stem back to 1929 a mistake in date. I never refered to them as "the troubles" so at no point was i actually refering to "the troubles" I was refering to the trouble that stems back in modern history to my link and further back to the middle ages if you trace history
