Hamza in court
http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0...208590,00.html
Out of genuine curiosity, does anyone know they'd handcuff him? It has always been my understanding that people who were in court for serious offenses like this were handcuffed as a matter of course.

Re: Hamza in court
As far as I know they don't handcuff him but have removed his hooks.

I would imagine that they could use ankle cuffs fixed above the elbow - the elbow joint would then hold them on.
Mind you, handcuffs are intended to stop someone using their hands - in this case that doesn't seem to be an issue
BTW - I would have thought that if he was walking around a Muslim country, then he'd have to be assumed to be a thief - and a serial thief at that!

Re: Hamza in court
Apparently Abu Hamza has likened life in the UK to living 'inside a toilet'.

All I can say is, he must have a penchant for toilets. How many years has he lived here?

If he thinks the UK is a toilet, I wonder what he makes of whichever third-world country it is he came from.
