bizarre. I suspect I find homosexual behaviour uncomfortable to see on the telly but not offensive. If you find something offensive, how can you then say your friends are that way inclined but you dont judge them? Is not one conflicting with the other?
True friends are those that can have a difference of opinion yet remain close. How many things do you have perfect agreement over in your relationships?

Of course it is, if you apply the implications.
On the other hand though, it is just a point of view, what you do with it is up to you.

Deliberately unreasonable? I think not. A reasoned response to the original post. I think so.

Why are you bringing Christianity in to it?

You'd be the only one then.

How can you compare a medical condition to a point of view?

Well we could go down the road of the social causes of phobias etc, but we won't.

Instead, I'm interested to know if you think, based on your post, that PaulM is ignorant because of his distaste?

Good, because someone disliking a person because they are gay isn't a phobia.

Thanks for the wink, but sorry - I'm straight.

If PaulM is deliberately choosing to dislike gays purely because they are gay then, yes he is ignorant IMO.

So you've made up your mind without even bothering to find out more?

Sounds like prejudice to me.

So what do you think my opinion is?

it's not a phobia for them Andy, it's because their beliefs and/or religion tells them it's a sin.

That has to be one of the most ignorant posts I've seen here in a LONG while.

as we've had threads like this before, I have already queried your opinons long ago and it all boils down to beliefs and it being a sin. so yes I bothered to find out more in the past, and the more I asked the more I realised your mind was fully made up and the reasons why.

Paul, is it man on man action you find distasteful, or girl on girl action. Or both?

Utter rubbish and entirely untrue. Christinaity has not changed the way I view homosexuality.

Come off it... Who would you say is homophobic? The BNP? Do you honestly think they'll pass the opportunity to give a homosexual a good kicking because they are "too afraid"? "Bob, There's two fags, let beat the s**t out of them" / "No Jim, i'm too scared...".

If you can't condone a homosexuals right to live lawfully making consentual lifestyle choices with regards to alternative sexual practices, then sorry, you are homophobic. You can wrap a turd up in fancy paper, but its still a turd.
