That's my Christmas reading sorted then - Helmut Kohl has a book out (I wonder if it's got any good recipes?). In it he reveals what it was like to be on the end of late-era Thatcher ranting (when she was seriously deranged):

So now we know what Maggie was doing in the 80s - trying to stop the Germans reuniting! This puts her in the same camp as the Soviet hardliners, of course...
