Mobile Vending Machines?

Assuming, of course, that the Quickphone machine is designed to withstand the impact of a ram-raiding assault carried out by alcopop-fuelled teens in a nicked Ford Cosworth because, let's face it, a whole aggravation of Asbos will not deter the UK's youth from attempting to acquire a new Voda mobile at the full street discount.

The bit at the end was pretty much exactly the same thing that I wondered when I read the article lol

So how much does this cost I wonder? And what happens after you used it... do you throw it away? Or return it to the manufacturer to get your deposit back or something?

And like W&C said... surely just be easier to find a phone box. It'll be cheaper too, considering you can make reverse charge calls on it and use BT chargecards.
