Proud To Be British.
Just watched last nights Tonight programme 'Proud To Be British.'
Am I the only one who found the commentators statement that Leicester is set to become the first place in Britain to have a minority white population shocking?
It wasn't just said glibly either, but as if it was something good and to be proud of!!!

Statement of fact - nothing to be afraid of, nothing to be proud of, nothing to be shocked about - it just is...
There wasn't a big fuss when Corby became mostly Scottish... 
But as the programme name states - proud to be British, so why does the colour of skin matter?

The fact people have built an economy and made it a thriving success is to be commended. Out of adversary, they have provided a source of income for themselves, the colour of skin or broken English is matter less. Black, White, Yellow or Brown people are people. At least they didn't sit on their asses and drain the public purse like so many are happy to do.

There should be equal amounts of people. There should never be an overal majority in anything. Religion has nothing to do with it. It could be about anything.
