Cameron is Prepared to Hold a Referendum On EU.. Well, kind of..
Quote:
|
Cameron insisted that an immediate in/out referendum - which he is under mounting pressure from within his own party to deliver - was not what the vast majority of people wanted.
|
Think again mate..
Quote:
|
Nearly 100 Conservative MPs have written to Cameron urging him to make it a legal commitment to hold a poll on the UK's relationship with the EU during the next parliament.
|
So like the promise of a Referendum he made to get into power, we're to believe that he'll probably do it in 2015, if he's re-elected
Quote:
|
Mr Cameron’s landmark move comes as Liam Fox, the former defence secretary, prepares to up the stakes by calling for an immediate renegotiation of Britain’s relationship with the EU. If other member states fail to back this solution, Dr Fox believes, there should be a referendum with the government recommending pulling the UK out of the EU.

He has his instructions from his corporate masters. The Bilderbergers have set the timetable and he can only keep up the pretence of choice to keep the masses pacified.

Oh look another um, ah, maybe, yes, actually no, ok then yes from the PM.
It's probably the only chance he will have to get back in by trying to appeal to UKIP voters that they'll get a referendum if they vote Tory.

I don't know why people want a referendum we have one every general election.
if you vote Conservative, Labour or LibDem you get EU, why don't people understand this.

Just weasel words. Note that he said referendom OR election. We'll never get the chance to say no to the EU with any of the main parties, to think otherwise is just wishful.
The real answer is for UKIP, not the busted Lib-dems, to hold the balance in the next election and their alliance to be conditional on an in or out referendom.

They'll be getting my vote again, if they could find a few issues that turn them from a single issue campaign group and into a proper party in voters eyes they'll do very well.

The day i'm standing in a polling station with a cross making implement and a ballot paper in front of me is the day i'll believe that we get a vote on EU membership

seriously though i've lost track how politicians have promised a referendum or more accurately insinuated a promise whenever they are trying to divert attention from their latest cockup

I have no intention of voting for any party ever again. I will however vote for us to leave the joke that is the EU should we be offered a referendum.
