Rodney King dies aged 47
You may remember his beating by police in American was filmed and led to race riots throughout Los Angeles when it became public.

He was on celebrity rehab, they stated on that he'd die soon if he didn't kick his alcohol addiction.

Not exactly an unexpected death. He was no angel either so I won't be shedding a tear. Sure it sucks that he took one hell of a beating, but that doesn't excuse the things he's done before and after.
