I dont care if a story is pro left or right wing but rather its based on facts and is quality reporting.

What I do care about really is 2 things.

Story has to be based on facts, a minister saying something doesnt make it fact.

Also ideally stories shouldnt be selectively picked based on agenda.

As I said in my first post I know other media is bad as well the UK media is bad as a whole but the bbc stands out because its viewed and trusted by so many. Ironically they are the hardest to contact.

I agree that newsnight is still half decent, although I dont rate panaroma much, dispatches puts panaroma to shame. Panaroma's problem is selective coverage as well.

I don't think that the BBC report things a minister says as fact. They'll report the fact that a minister has said something, not that it's a fact because a minister said it.

Re: BBC mouthpiece for government

And how does that prove that the BBC are a mouthpiece for the Government?

I also can't find any reports of that story in the Times or the Telegraph, or on the C4 or ITV News websites.......

It is linked from the BBC website down the right hand side (elsewhere on the web)?
