Quote:

Five men have been arrested in Luton on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism, Scotland Yard said.

Wonder if this will turn out to be something significant, possibly connected with the Olympics even....

Re: Terror arrests in Luton
Given the amount of serious flak the authorities get when they're deemed to have made arrests etc. and got it wrong, I doubt they'd be mounting such raids on a whim or for political reasons.

Re: Terror arrests in Luton
Of course if any of those arrested could be conveniently linked to the " I dont want to be deported " brigade things could get interesting.

Yeah I don't suppose all those murdered in terrorist acts in France, Spain, Norway, Turkey, India, Algeria, Libya, Iraq, Arghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, Israel etc. etc. will have noticed that though...

Re: Terror arrests in Luton
Well, we reap what we sow. The country (and probably many others) are now home to an army of Fifth Columnists just waiting to go to work.
Let's just hope that "intelligence" finds most, or all, before they can carry out their deadly, cowardly acts against us.
