I'm sorry but how do whales bring a complaint to court and how does the constitution cover animals?I'm all for protecting animals but this is just extracting the urine.I don't want to see Orcas in sea parks but I don't see why laws should be subverted to do so.

This is good news..... places like this should be closed down world wide..these animals should not be in fish tanks so humans can get pleasure from watching them jump through plastic hoops..
These animals belong in one place only and that is their natural habitat...

There are perfectly adequate laws to cover such places and issues.The US constitution should NOT be misused to make such changes.

Whilst I agree these animals should be in their natural environment, once they've been in captivity or born into captivity they're unlikely to be able to function in the wild again and will as likely end up in a sushi bar in Tokyo.

I agree
I never did see the fascination or interest in zoo's, not even as a kid, I always thought it was inhumane and cruel to keep them locked up in cages or enclosed areas.
I guess I started thinking that way after I went to Chessington as a child and watched this polar bear pacing back and forth over and over.

What meant was, these do gooders who take on stupid arguments of solving problems on the planets are probably on Welfare and sit around all day, would do better by giving there money to charity as that is a worthwhile cause.

Experts in philosophy, conservation and animal behaviour want support for a Declaration of Rights for Cetaceans.
They believe dolphins and whales are sufficiently intelligent to justify the same ethical considerations as humans.
