Just how many more Syrian people have to die to get Russia and China to change their backwards way of thinking ?...

l know it absolutely disgraceful that these two countries especially continuously go against what the vast majority of countries in the United Nation want to pass as a resolution and what is also important is the right and proper thing to do.

It's not as if both haven't done the same in the past with their own protesters

Re: Ban Ki-Moon: Russia and China's Veto undermines United Nations.
The American ambassadoor? said in her speech that one of the countries continued to sell arms to Assad's army, so it's no wonder they vetod. (which they seem to do against any hostile regime)
Really it just shows how indifferent and undemocratic (sp) both these countries are.

Their previous abstentions didn't prevent the UN from going ahead.

I think all too often russia and china vote against things simply because they can and neither country wants to be seen as "following the west". Maybe we should have done some better backdoor diplomacy and let one of them come up with a resolution.

News coming from AFP: Tunisian Prime Minister Hamadi Jebadi, calling on all Arab countries to expel Syrian Ambassadors.
