Man put speed van outside his house

He has bought an old police vehicle, disguised it as a speed camera van and parked it outside his house to try and slow the traffic down.

Knowing my luck, if that was me that did that they'd be flying past my house and blasting their horns starting from tomorrow . now that they know it's fake

Just noticed this is old. why do the BBC keep putting old news with the new?

Nottinghamshire County Council said the camera was legal because it was located on private land, but added the owner could be liable if someone blamed it for a crash.
That's interesting. what's the difference of a legal and not legal one if it causes a crash?
