Hungarian airline Malev collapses
The Hungarian national airline Malev has folded after its financial situation became unsustainable because of higher cost and the EU forcing the airline to repay state from the Government of Hungary (who used to own the airline until 2007, when they sold it to russian investors, but they went bust so the government took control again in 2010). They might relaunch the airlines but its future remains uncertain! Just 4 days ago Spainair went out of business, more to follow?

If you are going to Hungary then take British Airways, Easyjet, Ryanair and Wizzair

CSA Czech Airlines, Jat airways, Croatia Airlines and Adria Airways might be next to go out of business or taken over!
