So ice and wind dismissed, we are left with possibilities of falling asleep, being cut up, evasive action (eg, another vehicle, animal darting into the road, et cetera), plus more. I'm not saying it wasn't excessive speed that caused this accident, but at the same time, I don't agree that it was "obviously" speeding. Sometimes things are not as clear cut as ones own opinion. 'Probably' is not 'obviously'. and for the record, I actually agree it was 'probably' speed that caused this, though it is not necessarily 'obviously' the cause.
