Non custodial sentences?

All four were given non-custodial sentences.
During the raid a frog was speared with a metal stake and 12 koi carp were killed when fertiliser was put into their pond.

Parents should be allowed to give kids a right good hiding without fear of repercussion, I'm sure there would be a lot less stories like these

Money money money thats all that matters nowdays and if they can get away with not sending people to prison or detention centres they will do it. Trouble is not so much now it is in the near future when the attitude that you can do what you want with little or no punishment comes home to roost.

I feel that Non custodial sentences do not work, espcially if they have commited a serious crime!
