I find that article so hard to read due to its excessive bias.

Apart from using the term 'spying on' instead of investigating, it reads as if there was a deliberate plot by the police to secretly inject their sperm into women of dubious political persuasions, with a view to producing more 'sensible' offspring.

'Undercover Officers screw around' would have done just as well.

I agree 'spying' is more loaded that investigating although I think the fact they were undercover within the group is what leads to that term. I don't think you can read it as intentional impregnation, instead I read it that they kept secret the fact that they had fathered children.

Let's have a bit of perspective here, the undercover operation lasted more than 10 years, not a couple of days.

Couple split up all the time and a lot of the time the mothers insist on taking the children and that they no longer see their father, What is the real difference here?

They weren't going home each night back to their normal life, they were having to live all of their time in that environment. To expect people to be celibate all those years is ridiculous.

I see your point but to not take precautions against conception and then to abandon said children is even more despicable the more I come to think of it..

what's more worrying to me is the paranoia of the establishment ,if they feel the need to plant these undercover cops into groups of political campaigners .

Who where the groups and how dangerous where they ?.Where they planning on blowing things up

How else would they know what any section of the groups were planning to do?
