MOD announces more cuts

Good! It's not as though they're busy is it?? 
I was hoping the numbers might include a lot of the renowned FDB ('Fine Dining Brigade') but oddly they always seem to come off relatively unscathed......

That's probably why they're advertising for people to join the TA. get rid of some of the wage earners and use the TA when they want them.
bit like getting rid of the police and replacing them with the plastic ones.

Pity they don't do that with politicians! Plastic ones would be cheaper, more environmentally friendly and just as ineffective....

The best part is that all these cuts that Dave will be doing over the next 3 years will never be reinstated.
a bit like petrol. it could be 1982 prices per barrel. but it will never go more than 5p below the prices they are now.

Our spending is still nowere near enough, UK spends 2.7% of GDP on defence, USA spends 4.7%, Russia spends 4.3% and Israel spends 6.3%
