Unlikely as the ship had unregister people on in.

Correction it was five found not three, officially 2 are still missing but as Hom3r said there is no way of knowing how many unregistered people there were on the ship.

On unregistered why are they not strictly controlled like ferry after zebrugge disaster. After that they had to have all passengers registered surely cruise ships come under same duristictions. If so hope this company gots whats coming to them for unregistered passengers.

Probably because of the different senarios

Ferries are pretty much load and go, so there isn't milling around much.

For cruise ships as I understand it they open it up for friends and family to come on board before they set off, plus the boarding is much more leisurely (as it's a cruise), so there is more opportunity for someone to stay on board

Plus the numbers are much higher than on ferry

But there is secuirty and passport control at cruise ports, how do they get past that?
