Oh look! Manhattan court declares "Iran behind 9/11 attacks".
"A federal district court in Manhattan yesterday entered a historic ruling that reveals new facts about Iran's support of al Qaeda in the 9/11 attacks. U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels ruled yesterday that Iran and Hezbollah materially and directly supported al Qaeda in the September 11, 2001 attacks and are legally responsible for damages to hundreds of family members of 9/11 victims who are plaintiffs in the case."
What a (rather convenient) surprise.

I don't think there is the political will, the public support, or the financial ability for a war on Iran from either side of the Atlantic. This is simply a verdict from a district court, it doesn't carry much importance and it's a bit of a presumption to assume they are being used by the government to pave the way for an invasion.

I don't think anyone has presumed that this is a way for the Government to pave the way for an invasion specifically. That said, whether there is the the political will, the public support, or the financial ability to do so - from either side of the Atlantic - is largely irrelevant.
As this recent article shows Israel and other countries in the region appear supportive of action being taken.
The days when the UK, or the US for that matter, dictated their own insular foreign policies are long gone.

With Syria and Egypt effectively in turmoil this somewhat weakens the axis of discontent were the Israelis to strike Iran. They've been threatening to do so for the past 3-4 years and it makes you wonder if the endgame is approaching. Very much a case of watch this space. Worrying times.

First it was Afghanistan and Iraq, then Pakistan, then Libya, Egypt and Syria, now they want to take over Iran and put a leader there who has no guts to speak above the United States. Cant anyone see here what is happening, or is everyone around the world blind?

Sorry. How can you chuck Libya, Egypt and Syria with Afghanistan and Iraq? The Arab Spring (Libya, Egypt and Syria) were uprisings by the people of the country, in most cases they did not have any military support from America.
The Syria government is killing their own citizens as we speak.
