Get a grip people it was a joke!!!!  Why can you not say anything theses days that is a joke with out causing offensive are people get more sensertive as if he ment what he said.

I do think he was joking, it's just his nature now. but you have to look at him as a representative of the BBC. well that's how the offended are seeing him.

I thought jokes were supposed to be funny, I used to enjoy TopGear but for me the last few series have been trying a little to hard, the Mexican "joke" they did was a prime example.

I think a lot of people don't actually care what he said. it probably doesn't even affect them. they might even know it's a joke but want him punished. they might not even know who he is even. but the way us British are and how we have adapted lately, we love to see a passing band wagon that we can jump on
