Some People
Two tales that really make you proud to be part of the human race, still at least the likes of Gina Robins are being named and shamed and I hope part of the drivers punishment is that his Porsche is crushed.
First
A woman who microwaved a 10-week-old kitten to death has been found guilty of causing it unnecessary suffering.
Second
A driver has been arrested after a sick incident in which a dog was tied to a Porsche with a length of rope and dragged along for six miles.
I just can't fathom at what point either of these "people" thought their actions were a good idea. More than a little worrying that Robins has children to.

Re: Some People
I can never ever understand cruelty to anyone at any given time and to do this to those animials is so sick and makes me so so angry. The same should be done to them and see how they feel.
Can imagine what they would do to there children if they annoyed them. Would they do the same to them. The mind boggles

Re: Some People
Words fail me on the cat, the woman sounds like she could present an iminent threat and danger to the rest and when sentencing this case should be treated as such, the cat should not just be thought of as a cat as this appears to have been a premeditated murderous act against a family pet that was performed in a most vile, calous and vicous manner.

Re: Some People
Seriously, what's going on recently
A CRUEL councillor killed four pet cats by SMASHING them into the walls of his home.
Their battered bodies were found strewn around Robert Payne's house amid shocking scenes of cruelty.

Re: Some People
Sickening how more and more people are like this.
I don't know whether it's drugs or just that more and more people are suffering from a mental illness.

Yes, I'm not normally the type that finds these sort of stories any more upsetting than any other type of news but it seems just recenty a spate of completely unnecessary cruelty has been reported on almost daily. Good to see the perpetrators named and shamed though.

Re: Some People
Even worse, this one's a councellor
Killed two kittens, then bought two more and then killed them as well. There are no words I can use that express my contempt for such, I was going to say people, but they don't deserve the term.

Re: Some People
Some people think because they are "animals" it is ok we have a white shepherd pup at the minute which goes for his walk everyday. Because he is not a very common dog he gets a lot of attention most of it positive but there are quite a few people who have told us we should hit him hard when he is getting excited because of five plus people crowding him and giving him a fuss. I bet some of these people are the sort who get very angry very quick can't or won't deal with whatever makes them that way and take it out on the nearest pet.
There does seem to have been a change in attitude amongst a lot of people towards pets in the last decade not sure what it is but it has definately happened.

Re: Some People
Isn't cruelty towards animals where serial killers start? These people should be committed to counselling immediately. We don't want the UK becoming like the States. It's one thing for kids to be cruel to animals; it's quite another for adults. To borrow from Terry Pratchett in Hogfather, it's the difference between chucking a stone at a cat and setting it on fire.
Kids don't necessarily understand that; adults are supposed to. If they don't, there is something badly wrong with them. They must be treated/helped ASAP...before they do similar things or worse to people.

Makes you wonder what the child of the mother in post 1 will turn out like, he sure hasn't been dealt the best of chances with her as a mother.

Re: Some People
I think I'm going ever so slightly mad
A SADISTIC dog owner filmed beating his helpless pet demands HE should be compensated for invasion of privacy — after the footage was posted on YouTube.
Jonathan Bloomfield, 37, was caught on camera punching his 18-month-old Staffordshire bull terrier Butch by a neighbour earlier this year.
The video was posted online, and Bloomfield's violence enraged people so much that an angry mob turned up on his doorstep.

Moral of the story for this oafs benefit is if you don't want an angry mob turning up on your doorstep don't punch your dog in the head.

Re: Some People
Possibly the sickest one yet, I'm sure we don't normally get this many stories in such a short space of time.
A TWISTED pet owner was being hunted last night over a vile "Christmas video" of him feeding a playful kitten to a PYTHON.

Makes me sick things like that, what a 'king moron. Hope the RSPCA get him to court as I'm sure he'll enjoy his time down in the clink.

I'd like to give this div a punch or two! As if staffies don't get enough bad publicity
People like him need to learn a very harsh lesson imo!! As do any humans who harm defenceless animals which they choose to take into their possession.
btw I've not been able to read many of the links on this thread having been produced by a newspaper I will not read!
